The Diamond IR is our newest addition to the label finishing machinery lineup. It offers a fast, smooth, and versatile performance, coupled with an attractive design.
This robust finishing unit covers the complete A to Z package and can operate either inline or offline with your roll printer. With a standard 230mm web width, it perfectly complements the latest Memjet and inkjet printers. The Diamond IR efficiently re-registers with your printed web, laminates, die-cuts, slits, weeds, and rewinds your labels, resulting in a polished finished product.
Designed for flexibility, the Diamond IR can be customised to match your workflow requirements. We are happy to adjust elements of the base design to better suit your business and label needs.
With the Diamond IR, you can effortlessly produce printed labels by registering with a black mark, or create accurate plain labels without any mark, using any flexible cutting die from 4" to 12" in length.

AUSTIK DIAMOND IR
An inside look at the Intermittent Rotary Diamond Label converting machine by Austik
The Diamond IR is able to accommodate a massive roll of material (440 mm outside diameter), which drastically reduces stock cost from converters, and greatly simplifies operation by avoiding frequent roll changeovers.
A re-registering magnetic cylinder uses easily changeable steel dies that are low in cost and fast to create. These dies, combined with servo-controlled motors, allow for pinpoint cutting accuracy at high speeds, even with perforations. In addition to inline print applications, the Diamond IR can also be used to convert blank labels.
